LokaTag Built-In Toll Reader Introduced – Priced At RM 499

Lokatech Engineering, together with their technology partner Efkon, has introduced its new LokaTag built-in toll reader.

The new LokaTag built-in toll reader is designed to be integrated as part of the vehicle with a direct connection to the vehicle’s battery. It also features a back-lit display with the ability to warn users if a card has errors or if credit is low.

Priced at RM 499, the LokaTag built-in toll reader is positioned as an alternative to the portable MaxTag. Lokatech Engineering has partnered up with Shopee to offer free on-site installation for every purchase of the LokaTag from the official store, valid for customers in the Klang Valley, Penang, and Johor. As for customers outside of these regions, customers can have the LokaTag installed at selected authorized dealers, for free.

For an extra RM 1, buyers can also enjoy a 0% Easy Payment Plan (EPP).

According to Lokatech Engineering general manager Ng Shyh Kang, “LokaTag is the first and only authorised built-in toll reader for the aftermarket and we believe there is a high number of car owners who will appreciate the peace of mind and convenience of a seamless ride. For a start, we are targeting sales of about 1,000 units a month.”
