Dunlop Malaysia goes from 150 to 200+ outlets in 2 months as brand pushes nationwide expansion

Dunlop Malaysia is stepping up its expansion efforts following its new chapter under Toyotsu Binter Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

Since May 2026, the tyre brand has expanded its network from approximately 150 outlets to more than 200 outlets across the country, making its products more accessible to motorists nationwide.

The rapid expansion comes after Toyotsu Binter Malaysia took over Dunlop's operations in Malaysia earlier this year, as the company looks to strengthen the brand's presence in the highly competitive replacement tyre market.

Marcus Lim, Managing Director of Toyotsu Binter Malaysia Sdn Bhd, said Malaysia remains an important market for Dunlop, with strong opportunities for long-term growth.

"Motorists are looking for products that deliver quality, safety and performance, but they also expect genuine value. That is where we see Dunlop's opportunity. Our ambition is to establish Dunlop as an emerging premium brand by making premium performance accessible to more Malaysian motorists," he said.

The company is also expanding its tyre portfolio to cater to different vehicle segments. This includes the Blue Response TG for everyday passenger vehicles, the SP Sport Maxx 060+ for drivers seeking enhanced performance and handling, and the Grandtrek R/T01 for SUVs and pick-up trucks.

Dunlop is also preparing to introduce the e.Sport Maxx, a tyre developed specifically for BEVs, with features aimed at improving energy efficiency, reducing rolling resistance and lowering cabin noise.

The brand's expansion strategy also extends to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partnerships, with Dunlop continuing to supply tyres for selected models from brands including Toyota, Lexus, Isuzu, Mazda and Leapmotor.
