The company has now confirmed the official retail price, and it turns out to be slightly lower than expected at RM252,800. However, opting for BMW Service & Repair Inclusive (BSRI) brings the price up to RM268,800. To recap, the iX1 eDrive20L M Sport is essentially a long-wheelbase version of the standard iX1, the brand’s smallest fully electric Sports Activity Vehicle. It features a 110 mm longer wheelbase and 116 mm increase in overall length, bringing it to 2,802 mm and 4,616 mm respectively. BMW says the stretched proportions translate into meaningful gains for rear passengers, with an additional 81 mm of legroom and 107 mm of kneeroom for improved comfort. Beyond space, the iX1 eDrive20L M Sport is also well equipped on the tech front. It comes with BMW’s Curved Display, a Head-Up Display, and the latest BMW Operating System 9. Power comes from a single front-mounted electric motor producing 204 PS (150 kW) and 250 Nm. This allows the SUV to complete the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 8.6 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 175 km/h. The battery is a 66.5 kWh unit, offering a WLTP-rated range of up to 433 km on a full charge. It supports DC fast charging of up to 130 kW, enabling a 10% to 80% charge in 32 minutes. There is also 11 kW AC charging, which takes 6 hours and 45 minutes for a full charge. BMW also claims up to 120 km of range can be added in just 10 minutes under ideal fast-charging conditions. On the safety side, the iX1 is equipped with Driving Assistant Plus, which includes Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Steering and Lane Control Assistant, Speed Limit Info, and Lane Departure Warning with Lane Return. It also gets Parking Assistant Plus, which adds Surround View, Remote 3D View, BMW Drive Recorder, and Park Assist Professional with line and kerb detection. Active pedestrian protection and acoustic pedestrian warning complete the package. ✕ Let's Connect on Whatsapp We protect your personal information in compliance with the PDPA I agree with Carlist.my Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
