I'm reluctantly selling my beloved E39 as I am upgrading to the F10 next month and parking space is a constraint.

I am a BMW enthusiast, have owned a 318i E30, 525i E34, 325i E46 and currently owns this beautiful 523i E39 here. I'm also a forum member of BMW Club Malaysia and used to be an active member years ago. Due to work and family commitments, I am now just a forum member of a few online BMW sites, including here on facebook.

My E39 here is manufactured in 1998 and registered in 2002, I'm the second owner, it's a UK British spec and the heart of the car is a silky smooth M52B25 engine 2.5L single Vanos. I've been using Ravenol semi-synthetic oil all along. The car runs superbly on urban roads and cruises quietly at 160km/h to 180km/h on highways. Overtaking and kickdown is a breeze and top I've touched is 220km/h. Accident free and no-rust whatsoever.

Everything is original here except that I've upgraded the headlights to Xenons and changed the front bumper and wheels to M-sport. The M-sport wheels are original 17" inches and the tyres are still considered new as I bought it in December last year. I've wrapped the steering wheel too due to tearing of the original leather. Last year some idiot smashed into my side mirror so I got it changed to these AC Schnitzers style mirrors. I have the original ones with a slight crack on the cover and will throw it in for the new owner. Interior wise is as it is, beige in color, not easy to keep it clean but I've managed! Leather seats are not perfect due to age but still looks great and feels good sitting in it. Everything else works perfectly like the aircond, multifunction buttons on the steering wheel, Cruise Control, Radio CD Changer, Interior lights, Gauges and warning lights, Power Windows, Switches, Rear Aircond, Central Locks, BMW Alarm system etc. Basically, nothing is broken except for the silly cup holders! Come view it for yourself.

I have also recently changed a number of important 'under the bonnet' parts that were worn out due to unavoidable wear and tear. Here's some that I've changed/repaired:

- All 4 absorbers including lower arms and upper arms with bushings. - Early December
- Flushed and serviced the gearbox ATF oil - Early December
- New Battery - November
- Changed power steering oil reservoir and hosses - December
- New front Brake Discs rotors, brake pads and 2 wheel bearings (front) - January this year
- New engine pulleys and belts 2 pieces - January this year
- Flushed and serviced Radiator coolant, power steering fluid and brake fluid - Early December
- New windscreen wipers - February
- New HID bulbs and angel eye bulb and number plate lights (white LED) - January
- New air in-take filter and 2 aircond filters - December
- Engine Oil service (Ravenol) with new oil filter and oil sump nut - 2 weeks back
