After 6 years of owning this car, here are some of the best things about it: 1. Dirt cheap to maintain 2. Air-cond super power 3. Handling boleh tahan. Front stabilizer bar added 4. Under cover / low profile because there are so many of the same car on the road in KL But here are the things that upset me: 1. the digital clock becomes slower after 1 or 2 days then slower still. this is a simple thing that should not happen 2. the seat fabric is too thin and easily tear especially on the driver's side. 3. it's noisy. the engine noise can drown out the sound system or phone call u may be answering while driving. needs insultation 4. things tend to vibrate and rattle and very hard to detect what is giving way. Proton has launched a new Saga model in 2016. This model is quite elegant looking from the exterior and also the interior. But the downside is, the interior feels really cheap and a little bit of crap especially the dashboard and the door panels. This may not a big deal. The car have been utilized till to this year and amazingly there is no major problems or repair that needed to be done aside the service that provided from the manufacturer. The handling of this car is quite awesome. It is capable to driven quite fast around the corners, but it also provide for good comfort for smooth driving. I consider this to be a big issue, which is the Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT). The CVT is good because it provides smooth acceleration without feeling of the jerking since this car does not use normal gears in automatic transmission. But somehow, it responses really slow from the stationary and when with sudden full throttle. The boot space is big enough, the leg room for the rear passenger is good and the ergonomics for the seating position is superb. This car provides a reverse camera which displays in the rear view mirror is quite clear and bright. The rear view mirror has some sort of anti-glare layer which you do not have to adjust the mirror during night driving. Overall, I can say is a fair car for a fair price but this model has to be improvised in the throttle response since it is quite abnormally slow for common cars. Less
