Introduced locally in early March, the MPV is offered in five variants: Serena e-Power X: RM154,800 Serena e-Power X Plus: RM159,800 Serena e-Power Highway Star: RM169,800 Serena e-Power Premium Highway Star: RM174,800 Serena e-Power Shiro Premium Highway Star: RM179,800 Customer deliveries are already underway, with 250 units handed over nationwide so far. In response to the healthy demand, ETCM is ramping up production, while continuing its introductory incentives: a RM5,000 rebate and a complimentary accessories package worth RM8,000 (excluding the X variant). The Serena e-Power is locally assembled at Tan Chong’s Serendah plant and adopts a series-hybrid setup. A 1.4-litre naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine (HR14DDe), producing 98 PS and 123 Nm, serves solely as a generator. It supplies energy to a 1.77 kWh battery, which powers an electric motor driving the front wheels. Total system output stands at 163 PS and 315 Nm of torque. ETCM quotes a fuel consumption figure of 18.5 km/l (NEDC), along with a claimed driving range of up to 1,000 km. A key highlight of the model is its focus on passenger comfort through Nissan’s anti-motion sickness engineering. This includes improvements to aerodynamics, as well as revised suspension and steering tuning to reduce body movement. Larger windows help minimise visual imbalance, while Zero Gravity Seats in the first and second rows are designed to provide better support during long journeys. ✕ Let's Connect on Whatsapp We protect your personal information in compliance with the PDPA I agree with Carlist.my Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
