The Nissan Terra is a diesel-power pick-up platform-based SUV, a very popular segment in Thailand. This is basically Nissan's answer to Toyota's Fortuner, Mitsubishi's Pajero Sport, Isuzu's MU-X, and Ford's Everest.
Nissan Motor Co. Thailand launched the Nissan Terra in August with three variants, all powered by a newly-developed 2.3-litre twin-turbo diesel codenamed YS23, producing 190 hp and 450 Nm.
Among the key features are 18-inch wheels, LED head lamps, roof-mounted rear air conditioning vents, Around view monitor (AVM), intelligent rear view mirror, blind spot monitor, and lane departure warning.
Prices start from THB 1.316 million (~RM 166,700) for the V 2WD, while the VL 2WD will set buyers back for THB 1.349 million (~RM 171,000). The range-topping VL 4WD costs THB 1.427 million (~RM 180,800).
