So, yes, Stellantis Malaysia has officially opened bookings for the Leapmotor B10, its second model for our market and arguably the one with the most potential to shake up the EV crossover space. With an estimated price of RM110k–RM120k, the B10 is gunning straight for the Proton e.MAS 7 and BYD Atto 3, though it also runs the risk of alienating the larger C10, which currently being sold new at RM125k following a steep discount earlier this year to specifically compete with…..again, the Proton eMAS 7. Booking the B10 takes just RM80, and the first 200 customers will score the ‘LeapX100’ package: giving buyers either a free wallbox charger or a free servicing package, plus a cash rebate worth up to RM8,000. It’s an aggressive offer meant to pull buyers away from established rivals, and depending how warmly the model is received locally, could sway them over to the Leapmotor camp. Set for a December 2025 debut, the B10 slots in as Leapmotor’s third global product after the C10 SUV and the compact T03. Built on the brand’s new LEAP 3.5 architecture, the B10 boasts a highly integrated battery-and-chassis layout engineered for better rigidity, improved comfort and more confidence-inspiring handling. For a brand still building its base of mainstream recognition, this is the kind of hardware that can help it win over skeptics. The cabin carries a heavy C10 resemblance in terms of its basic layout and ergonomics, doubling down on a clean, minimalist vibe and noticeable lack of physical buttons in favour of touch-operated controls. Expect features such as a 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging tray and even wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard - something the C10 still lacks to this day. Size-wise, the B10 measures 4,515 mm long, 1,885 mm wide and 1,655 mm tall, riding on a 2,735 mm wheelbase. Its exterior clearly shares DNA with the C10, but the details are arguably sharper despite its silhouette looking a little softer: slimmer DRL signatures, a more pronounced lower intake, a slick full-width LED rear lightbar and 18-inch dual-tone wheels. Malaysia will tentatively get two variants, expected to mirror the iPhone-inspired “Pro” and “Pro Max” configurations sold abroad. These pack 56.2 kWh and 67.1 kWh batteries respectively both powering a single rear motor with the same 218 PS output as the C10, but with torque reduced to 240 Nm instead of 320Nm. Range is quoted to be at up to 460km WLTP, presumably for the higher end variant. With that less aggressive twist against the driven wheels, Leapmotor quotes 0–100 km/h in 8 seconds and a 170 km/h top speed — hardly headline-grabbing figures, but entirely adequate for a family EV aimed at real-world usability. ✕ Let's Connect on Whatsapp We protect your personal information in compliance with the PDPA I agree with Carlist.my Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
