Taking place from 22-25 January 2026, at Padang (A) Akasia, Angsana Johor Bahru Mall, the event will showcase the latest BEV offerings from both BYD and Denza, alongside a full schedule of activities throughout the four-day programme. Following the successful debut of the event in Desa ParkCity last year, visitors in Johor Bahru will now have the opportunity to see, experience, and test drive several models currently on sale in Malaysia. These include popular options such as the BYD Seal 6, available through the Driver’s Seat Experience test drive sessions. One of the key attractions is the chance to witness BYD’s latest DMO Technology in action, highlighted by the BYD Shark PHEV pick-up truck. Demonstrations will take place on dedicated obstacles such as the Camel Bridge and Cross Axle Challenge, allowing visitors to better understand the vehicle’s capabilities. Interactive stations will also be available, with BYD technical specialists on hand to explain the brand’s latest technologies. In addition, the Lifestyle Zone offers family-friendly activities designed to be both engaging and educational. Exclusive promotions and lucky draw sessions will run throughout the event, with prizes worth up to RM38,888 up for grabs. According to Eagle Zhao, Managing Director of BYD Malaysia, "Bringing BYD Tech Discovery to the southern region is an important step in expanding EV education to more Malaysians. For many, electric vehicles are still unfamiliar in regions with limited exposure to EVs, and this showcase is designed to help consumers better understand BYD’s technology and experience the innovations of the future first-hand." "We believe meaningful understanding of EVs is the first step towards adoption, and through continued education and engagement like this, we hope to encourage more EV adoption while fostering a simple mindset of shaping a more sustainable mobility future," added Zhao. ✕ Let's Connect on Whatsapp We protect your personal information in compliance with the PDPA I agree with Carlist.my Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
