EON recognised with seven accolades at 2026 Proton Global Conference

Edaran Otomobil Nasional (EON) Berhad scored big at the 2026 Proton Global Conference & Awards, taking home seven awards that reflect its performance in sales as well as customer experience in automotive retail.

The DRB-HICOM subsidiary received the Best Corporate Sales Proton 2025 Award, highlighting its efforts in delivering tailored mobility solutions to corporate clients and strengthening Proton’s footprint in the business-to-business (B2B) space.

EON’s strong retail and group-wide performance was also recognised with the Proton Edar Highest Sales Volume (Group Dealership) Award, marking it as one of the top-performing dealer groups in overall sales.

Meanwhile, the company’s Glenmarie outlet stood out by securing the Proton e.MAS Grand Award – Platinum for the highest e.MAS sales in 2025. It also received the Proton e.MAS Best Sales Volume Award for its growing role in supporting the expansion of Proton’s battery electric vehicle (BEV) line-up.

The EON Damansara outlet was presented with the Proton Edar Grand Award – Diamond, which recognises strong showroom standards, operational performance and customer satisfaction.

As for individual accolades, a sales advisor from the Glenmarie branch took home the Best Sales Advisor for Proton e.MAS Award, a testament to the professionalism, product knowledge and customer-centric approach of EON’s frontline team.

At the leadership level, EON Berhad CEO Akkbar Danial was honoured with the CEO Award 2025. Since joining the company in 2021, he has overseen innovative marketing initiatives, strengthened customer engagement and driven operational excellence across its dealerships nationwide, drawing on more than two decades of industry experience.

Speaking at the ceremony, Akkbar said the recognition reflects the team’s unwavering dedication, professionalism and passion for delivering exceptional experiences to their customers.
