Price The Kona 1.6 N Line is priced at RM156,888 while the 1.6 Turbo is priced at RM146,888 (Price are OTR, inclusive of the Penjana SST waiver but excludes insurance). Engine Both the Kona N Line and Kona Turbo will come equipped with the Smartstream G 1.6 T-GDi, a turbocharged inline four-cylinder petrol engine that is paired to the Smartstream 7DCT – 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission that produces 198PS of power at 6,000rpm and 265Nm of torque at 1,600-4,500rpm. Safety The 2021 Hyundai Kona N Line and 2021 Hyundai Kona Turbo will have the full suite of Hyundai's Smartsense active safety and driving assistance technologies comprising of: Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA) with Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA) Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) Lane Following Assist (LFA) Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go that keeps the SCC running even when the vehicle comes to a complete stop. Forward Collision Avoidance Assist (FCA) Driver Attention Warning (DAW) with Leading Vehicle Departure Alert (LVDA) Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) Safe Exit Warning (SEW) High Beam Assist (HBA) Exterior 2021 Hyundai Kona 1.6 Turbo The Kona Turbo will come with a two-tone body colour and roof rack which is exclusive to the 1.6 Turbo variant. The front end has also been redesigned with protective cladding panels, wide thin DRLs that do look quick striking, and a new distinctive centre grille. New tail lights at the rear feature horizontally stretched graphics. 2021 Hyundai Kona 1.6 N Line The Kona N Line on the other hand will come with the signature N styling all throughout the SUV, distinguishing it from its less racy sibling. Instead of skid plates found on the Kona 1.6 Turbo, the Kona N Line will come with an aerodynamic lip with low-lying corner fins for that stance. Larger air intakes with a unique mesh design and surface treatment will further help you tell apart the Turbo from the N Line. The 2021 Kona N Line will also come with dedicated 18-inch alloy wheels that will be complemented by body colour claddings, a new rocker panel and a large central aerodynamic diffuser that will create a contrast with the body. Interior 2021 Hyundai Kona 1.6 N Line The Kona N Line will come with the dedicated N Line colour package in black with red stitching. Interior materials will combine black leather and suede. Both the driver and passenger seat will come with ventilated and heated seat functions. The distinctive N look will also be displayed on the metal pedals, gear shift, steering wheel as well as seats. 2021 Hyundai Kona 1.6 Turbo As an alternative to the dark interior, the Kona 1.6 Turbo is also available with a light beige interior trim. Both the Kona variants will feature the new layout similar to the Kona 2.0, coming with a new console area. 10.25-inch digital cluster, 8-inch AVN screen, electric parking brake, new ambient light technology that illuminates the centre cup holders as well as the passenger and driver side footwells and new aluminium finish rings around the speakers and air vents. Entertainment Bluetooth Android Auto Apple CarPlay Colours The Kona 1.6 Turbo N Line and 1.6 Turbo comes in five exterior colours, namely Surfy Blue, Dive in Jeju, Ignite Flame, Pulse Red, and Misty Jungle. Each colour comes with the Phantom Black two-tone roof. The two-tone roof also comes with matching mirror housings. In addition, these latest variants come with new 18-inch wheel designs. Warranty The Kona comes with a five-year or 300,000km (whichever comes first) warranty and a 3-year or 50,000km (whichever comes first) free maintenance service.
