Auto News Amirul Kamaruddin https://www.carlist.my/authors/100117/amirul-kamaruddin | March 27, 2026 04:58 pm When the Proton e.Mas 7 PHEV was launched in Malaysia, it was offered in five exterior colours: Obsidian Black, Lithium White, Mercury Silver, Galena Grey and Aquamarine Blue. Now, less than two months after its debut, the SUV appears to have gained a new addition to its colour palette, if these latest spyshots are anything to go by. The new shade is a rich, dark green, reminiscent of the ever-popular British Racing Green, though it appears a touch deeper under direct sunlight. It’s unclear where the photo was taken, but judging by the row of white SUVs in the background, which appear to be e.Mas 7 PHEVs as well, it could be a stockyard at a production facility. Further clues point to this being a factory-fresh unit. The windscreen sticker, a handwritten ‘26’ marking on the glass, and fully wrapped seats all suggest that this is an official vehicle awaiting delivery or distribution. Aside from the new green finish, no other exterior changes are evident. This particular unit is also fitted with the same 19-inch multi-spoke wheels found on the Premium and Premium Plus variants. As a refresher, the e.Mas 7 PHEV is powered by a 1.5-litre EM-i four-cylinder engine paired with a front-mounted electric motor, delivering a combined output of 262 PS and 262 Nm. The Prime and Premium variants are equipped with an 18.4 kWh LFP battery, while the Premium Plus gets a larger 29.8 kWh unit. Pricing is as follows: Prime: RM109,800 Premium: RM123,800 Premium Plus: RM129,800 ✕ Let's Connect on Whatsapp We protect your personal information in compliance with the PDPA I agree with Carlist.my Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
