Thailand International Motor Expo 2018 Returns, 29 Nov To 10 Dec

Consumers in Thailand can look forward to yet another promotion-heavy Motor Expo this coming Thursday. The 35th Thailand International Motor Expo 2018 is scheduled to begin on 29 November and to conclude on 10 December 2018.

Held under the theme concept of “Enjoy Driving! Before Driverless Era”, the 2018 Thai Motor Expo will feature exhibitors from 36 makers from 9 countries plus 23 motorcycle brands from 7 countries.

Apart from the display of concept vehicles, visitors of the Thai Motor Expo can also expect to witness the launch of several new car models as well, including the all-new Honda Accord, Nissan X-Trail facelift, all-new Suzuki Jimny, and Honda Civic facelift. 

For the young ones, there will be a “Skill Driving Experience Junior” activity, aimed to instil road safety awareness. Visitors can also try out various advanced driving assistance systems such as autonomous braking at the Autonomous Test Drive Area.

A brand new Volvo V40 T4 awaits a lucky visitor who booked a new car at the motor show. Additionally, for riding enthusiasts who placed a booking for a new motorcycle will stand a chance to win a Yamaha YZF-R6. Each entry ticket to the Thai Motor Expo entitles a visitor a chance to win a MG3 Hatchback.

Kwanchai Paphatphong, the organizing chairman of the Thai Motor Expo expects 45,000 bookings to be placed for cars and another 8,000 bookings for motorcycles. The 2018 Thai Motor Expo is expected to welcome 1.5 million visitors which will generate over 55 billion Baht of commercial transaction, elevating the Thailand new vehicle sales for 2018 to over 1 million units.
