Performance: I get the right amount of performance when I need it. Responsive too. Interior design: it has quality materials with leather and rubber on dashboard and doors. Shortfall for awkward aircon vent placements (fixed in 2014 model) and un-motorized side mirrors, and lack of door autolock. Minor but could have been better. Nappa leather beats everything on 1.8 models. Not a single wrinkle or defect even after 8 years and I didn't even put much effort maintaining it. Also didn't use the existing sunroof. Safety: It has traction safety control (forgot the term). Basic airbags, ABS. Overall: Love it for nitpicky driver like me. Standard maintenance, not much trouble technically after 8 years so far and hope it stays that way. Less
