2026 Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce officially launched in Malaysia, priced at RM440k

Alfa Romeo Malaysia has officially launched the 2026 Alfa Romeo Giulia, following the four-door sports sedan’s preview in the country in November last year.

Distributed by DLSB Partners Sdn Bhd, the Giulia is offered as a fully imported model in a sole Veloce variant, priced at RM440,077.50 on-the-road without insurance. In duty-free Langkawi and Labuan, the model is priced at RM228,800. It is backed by a 5-year/150,000 km warranty.

Under the bonnet lies a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 280 PS at 5,250 rpm and 400 Nm of torque from 2,250 rpm. Power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels via ZF’s renowned eight-speed automatic transmission, enabling a brisk 0–100 km/h sprint in 5.7 seconds and a top speed of 240 km/h.

Beneath its beautifully sculpted bodywork, the Giulia Veloce features a double-wishbone front suspension and a multi-link rear setup. Further highlighting its performance-focused engineering are a lightweight carbon-fibre driveshaft, a mechanical Q2 limited-slip differential, a quick 11.8:1 steering ratio, and a near-perfect 50:50 weight distribution.

On the outside, the Giulia Veloce stands out with full-LED Adaptive Matrix “3+3” headlights and signature 19-inch telephone-dial alloy wheels wrapped in staggered tyres measuring 225/40 at the front and 255/35 at the rear. Hiding behind the wheels are four-piston Brembo brake calipers at the front and single-piston calipers at the rear.

Six colours are offered for the Giulia Veloce: Alfa Red, Misano Blue, Alfa White, Vesuvio Grey, Moonlight Grey, and Montreal Green.

Inside, front occupants are greeted by sports seats upholstered in leather with dark grey stitching and a three-spoke steering wheel with aluminium paddle shifters. Blending sportiness with technology, there’s also a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with classic Alfa Romeo-inspired graphics, an 8.8-inch central infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and a wireless charger.

In terms of safety and driver assistance, the Giulia Veloce comes equipped with Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assist.

While I wouldn’t label myself a hardcore petrolhead, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for cars and the simple joy of driving. For me, getting behind the wheel is a therapeutic escape.
