Jetour T2 i-DM PHEV now open for booking – 306 PS/610 Nm, up to 1,200 km range, est. RM168,888

Building on the encouraging reception for the T2, which received over 4,000 bookings within a month, Jetour Malaysia has now opened bookings for the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version of the SUV, the all-new T2 i-DM.

At the heart of the T2 i-DM is a 1.5-litre turbocharged (TGDI) engine paired with a dual-motor setup and a 3-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission. This combination delivers a total system output of 306 PS and 610 Nm.

While battery capacity has not been officially disclosed, the Chinese-market version is equipped with a 26.7 kWh pack. In EV mode, the SUV is capable of covering more than 100 km on electric power alone. With a full tank and a fully charged battery, Jetour claims a combined driving range of up to 1,200 km.

The battery supports both AC and DC charging, although detailed charging specifications have yet to be revealed.

Elsewhere, the T2 i-DM comes equipped with a panoramic view monitoring system, a comprehensive suite of ADAS features with Level 2 autonomous driving capability, as well as six airbags. More specification details are expected closer to its official launch.

Available for booking now at all authorised Jetour dealerships nationwide, the T2 i-DM is estimated to be priced at RM168,888, and will be supported by a comprehensive warranty and ownership package.
