70mai Dash Cam 4K Omni: improving on something that is already near perfect

If taking selfies with your smart, rotating dash cam wasn't enough, 70mai has taken it a step further with upgrades to their popular Dash Cam Omni, setting it apart in the increasingly populated dashcam market..

The new 70mai Dash Cam 4K Omni now features Sony's STARVIS 2 sensors on both the front and back, offering 4K HDR recording at 60fps—just as the name suggests. These new sensors are 90% more sensitive to light and are larger than those in the previous model, resulting in significantly better low-light performance.

Along with the enhanced sensors, the Dash Cam 4K Omni introduces a host of software improvements for better recording. The MaiColor Vivid+ Solution automatically adjusts exposure to balance brightness across different environments, selectively processes areas of the image for better clarity of important details, and adapts to the color and transparency of your windshield for optimal results.

At night, the 70mai Night Owl Vision reduces noise, balances exposure, and improves glare control. When parked, a new feature called Lumi Vision adjusts exposure in low-light conditions, ensuring the camera can capture and detect incidents even in extremely dark environments.

The Dash Cam 4K Omni also comes equipped with AI Motion Detection 2.0, an upgrade that incorporates 70mai’s latest self-developed AI algorithm and an Integrated Dual Half Effect Sensor. This combination enables more precise positioning, allowing the camera to accurately track subjects or fast-moving objects.

As for the features that made the original Dash Cam Omni a success, they remain in the 4K Omni as well. You can still take selfies or capture images of things ahead using Voice Control and the MaiX In-Car AI Mate, which even features cute bear-like expressions. Additionally, with the installation of a 4G hardware kit, you can access features such as instant app alerts, find my car, live route tracking, and in-app live streaming.

To power these new features, the 70mai Dash Cam 4K Omni is equipped with a new quad-core chip and a supercapacitor. Not only does this improve its processing speed and efficiency,  it also allows for the dash cam to support 5GHz WiFi for high-speed file transfers.

If you’re looking for a dashcam that delivers crystal-clear recording, reliability, and a range of smart features, the 70mai Dash Cam 4K Omni is a standout choice. Click here to check it out.
