Mitsubishi Xforce off to strong start in Malaysia, 900 units delivered within first month

The 2026 Mitsubishi Xforce is off to a promising start in Malaysia, with Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) confirming that 900 units will be delivered to customers by the end of April 2026, just weeks after its official launch on 8 April.

This early delivery milestone suggests that the Xforce is already resonating well with Malaysian buyers, reinforcing initial impressions that the model hits a sweet spot in the competitive compact SUV space.

As highlighted in our earlier coverage, the Xforce’s appeal lies in its straightforward formula. Rather than chasing electrification or overly complex tech, it leans into what many local buyers still prioritise - a dependable, easy-to-live-with SUV that balances design, practicality, and day-to-day usability.

MMM says the strong take-up reflects how the Xforce blends bold styling with real-world functionality, making it suitable for both urban commutes and weekend drives. That positioning appears to be working, especially among buyers seeking a fuss-free ownership experience without sacrificing modern looks.

According to MMM CEO Takashi Sakamaki, "We are truly grateful for the overwhelming response to the All-New Mitsubishi Xforce. Achieving 900 deliveries within the first month of launch is a strong testament to the confidence our customers have in the Mitsubishi brand and in this exciting new model."

"To our customers, thank you for being among the first to embrace the Xforce and for your trust in us. Your support means a great deal to everyone at Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia. We remain committed to ensuring a smooth delivery experience while continuing to provide the quality, reliability, and driving confidence that define Mitsubishi vehicles," added Takashi.

To recap, the 2026 Mitsubishi Xforce is priced from RM109,980 for the Urban, while the Ultimate comes in at RM119,980.
