So, apparently UMW Toyota Motors have been busy recently, discreetly working on a limited edition variant of the new Hilux which should be arriving soon as it has been spotted completely undisguised.
As posted by the Mecca of Malaysian spyshots, Funtasticko.net, the Hilux Limited G appears to have received a generous dose of cosmetic goodies like black trim around the headlights and taillights, a black roof, unique stickers, as well as black accents on the front grille and bumper.
Although we don't have any official information yet regarding the technicalities or the launch date, we anticipate the limited edition variant to be identical to the 2.4G variant in terms of the powerplant and features – since the unit we’re looking here has no LED headlights, suggesting that it is based on the 2.4 and not the 2.8 G.
As for the interior, we can expect some unique emblems of the limited edition added on components like the door sill, the seats, and maybe even the floor carpet.
Well, nothing has been officially disclosed as of now, but one thing is certain - those of you who have been waiting for a “tricked out” version of the Hilux besides the TRD Sportivo can finally rejoice.
