Ahead of the all-new Mazda 3’s local debut next week, Bermaz has previewed its upcoming model at its Glenmarie showroom. Unlike the previous generation model, the all-new Mazda 3 is imported from Mazda’s Hofu plant in Yamaguchi, Japan.
Unlike the previous generation model, the all-new Mazda 3 range now gets two engines choices across two body styles.

The range kicks off with the Mazda 3 1.5 Sedan/Hatchback. This variant is powered by a 1.5-litre SkyActiv-G that churns out 118 hp at 6,000 rpm and 153 Nm at 4,000 rpm, paired to a six-speed SkyActiv-Drive automatic transmission.

Moving up the hierarchy, we have the Mazda 3 2.0 Sedan High. This variant is powered by a 2.0-litre SkyActiv-G that does 162 hp and 213 Nm. A six-speed automatic is the sole transmission option offered for the Malaysian market.
