It's amazing how quickly time passes, what with so many new and exciting models being launched over the last few years. Can you believe that the Lexus NX is halfway through its model life? It's about time for a facelift, and the new Lexus NX will be making its global debut at the upcoming Auto Shanghai show towards the end of April. It will also be sitting alongside the LS 500h that made its global debut in Geneva just a few weeks ago.
The first urban crossover in the Lexus line-up, the NX also represented a step forward in terms of design and engineering for the brand when it was launched 3 years ago. It was the first to debut with the new 2.0-litre turbo engine that has made its way into a number of Lexus vehicles. More than that, it shows that the RX has grown so large in order to keep up with its segment that the NX has replaced it in spirit of the original Lexus RX models- much as how most cars have grown in size so much that there need to be smaller segments to take over.
