Geely’s First-Ever MPV Teased – As Stylish As MPVs Get

Geely is primed to introduce its first-ever Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV), based on the VF11 concept that was shown a couple of years ago. The MPV was actually caught undisguised late last year, giving us an early look at Geely's people mover.

From the teasers released by the company, we can immediately spot Geely’s ‘expanding cosmos’ front grille flanked by a pair of stylish headlights, similar to the ones found on the Binrui and Borui sedans with its prominent LED signature pattern.

Towards the side, the floating-style D-pillar gives the upcoming MPV a more sleek appeal, while the wraparound tail lights mirror the headlights with its LED pattern. The side view also gives us a peek into the cabin, revealing what appears to be a front camera module, hinting that certain variants of the MPV could feature Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, and Traffic Sign Recognition.

According to BitAuto, the new Geely MPV’s comes in at 4,707 mm long, 1,909 mm wide, and 1,664 mm tall. Wheelbase of the new MPV is said to be 2,805 mm long.

As for powertrains, it is likely that the new MPV could be powered by Geely’s current range of turbocharged engines, including the 1.5-litre turbo. Similar to the recently-introduced Borui, Binyue, and Binrui models, we can also expect a plug-in hybrid variant to follow suit.
