Honda Thailand Announces Prices Of All-New Accord, From RM 194,000

Honda Thailand has just announced the official prices of the all-new tenth-generation Accord, two months after launching its new D-segment sedan.

Prices start from THB 1,475,000 for the Turbo EL variant, while the Hybrid is priced at THB 1,639,000. As for the range-topping Hybrid Tech, this variant retails for THB 1,799,000.

Compared to the previous generation Accord 2.0 EL, prices went up THB 30,000 with the introduction of the new model. As for the hybrid variants, the previous generation 2.0 Hybrid went for THB 1,659,000 (- THB 20,000), while the 2.0 Hybrid Tech retailed for THB 1,849,000 (- THB 50,000).

It is worth noting that prices of both hybrid variants of the all-new Accord actually mirror that of the Toyota Camry Hybrid (2.5 HV – THB 1,639,000 & 2.5 HV Premium THB 1,799,000).

The Thailand Board of Investment (BoI) offers incentives for car manufacturers to locally assemble their hybrid vehicles. The all-new Accord Hybrid is the first model to roll out of Honda’s plant after its incentives were approved.

The company is offering the all-new Accord with an additional Honda Ultimate Care warranty plan which adds another 2 years or 40,000 km more for a total coverage of 5 years or 140,000 km (whichever comes first). Exclusive for the hybrid variants, Honda Thailand is offering a 10-year battery warranty and a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty for the hybrid system, plus free labour cost for regular servicing for the first 5 years or 100,000 km.

To recap, the all-new Honda Accord is available with two powertrain options – a 1.5-litre VTEC Turbo that does 190 PS and 243 Nm and a 2.0-litre Atkinson cycle four-cylinder petrol-electric hybrid engine that does 145 PS and 175 Nm, hooked up to Honda’s dual motor i-MMD hybrid system, allowing for a combined system output of 215 PS and 315 Nm.

Those who booked the Turbo EL variant of the all-new Honda Accord earlier can now receive their cars, while deliveries of the hybrid variants are expected to commence in July.
