TC Euro Cars (TCEC), the sole franchise holder for Renault vehicles in Malaysia, has just added pre-owned Capturs to its Subscription Plan.
The Renault Pre-Owned Captur Subscription presents a simple and convenient mobility option for those who are hesitant about making long-term commitments or who are cost-conscious post the movement control order (MCO).
Renault Pre-Owned Captur Subscription is a one-year plan that is offered at RM1,299 per month, inclusive of road tax, insurance, regular servicing and an annual mileage cap of 20,000km, with an option to upgrade.
Through a limited-time promotion, customers can save more as TCEC is offering a monthly rate of RM599 for the first six months of the subscription. Subsequently, from month seven to 12, the monthly rate of 1,299 will resume.
Those interested in the Renault Pre-Owned Captur Subscription can secure a unit by making a booking fee of RM200 online via Renault E-Store, from 17 April to 15 May 2020.
Additionally, to bring Renault Pre-Owned Captur Subscription to a wider audience, TCEC is collaborating with Shopee Malaysia. During Shopee’s ‘Shocking Sale’, customers will be able to enjoy an additional discount of 25 percent or RM50 on the booking fee.
The sale will be on at 12 am and 12 pm on 23 and 24 April. Each slot has an allocation for 10 customers, which means a total of 40 customers can secure a Renault Pre-Owned Captur Subscription with the discounted booking fee of RM150.
All redemptions for the Renault Pre-Owned Captur Subscription, be it via Renault E-Store or Shopee, can be made from 15 May to 31 July 2020. Should customers decide not to proceed with their subscription or not redeem their subscription within the campaign period, their booking fee will be refunded within 60 days, although a minimal RM5 administration fee applies.
Upon redemption, customers will also need to pay the balance due for the first-month fee after deduction of the RM200 booking fee and a security deposit of RM2,500. The security deposit will be refunded at the end of the subscription, subject to the condition of the vehicle upon return.
All pre-owned Captur vehicles provided will be no more than two years old and will have passed thorough inspection to meet Renault quality and safety standards. Limited units are available on a first come, first served basis.
Customers can take advantage of Renault E-Store to complete the entire process for their Pre-Owned Captur Subscription online from the comfort of their own homes. From arranging for test drives to taking delivery of their vehicles, this first OEM-owned e-commerce platform allows every customer to stay safe, especially now with the current pandemic.
Test drives will commence only after the MCO is lifted. Customers can choose to test drive from a Renault showroom closest to them – the only physical interaction in the entire process. Alternatively, they can arrange for a hassle-free three-hour test drive, without the presence of a sales person, through Renault’s test drive offering via GoCar available at more than 250 locations nationwide.
Once customers decide on proceeding with their subscription, they only need to log back into Renault E-Store to upload their supporting documents and view their application status. Customers will be notified on their subscription approval by the Renault Digital Engagement Team within 5 days from application.
Once approved, customers can also submit their security deposit and balance first-month fee payment, as well as manage their subsequent monthly payments via the E-Store.
Through the concierge service offering in Renault E-Store, customers in the Klang Valley can also request for free door-to-door delivery of their Subscribed Pre-Owned Captur so they can continue to stay safe at home. Deliveries will commence once MCO is lifted.
Renault Pre-Owned Captur Subscription is part of TCEC’s overall plan to expand the Renault Subscription offerings on top of the current Subscription Trial, Fixed and Switch plans.
Before pre-owned Capturs were included, the Renault Subscription Plan, which was launched in Malaysia late last year, comprised the Koleos SUV, followed by the Megane RS. According to TCEC, more than 700 subscriptions have been recorded to date since the plan was launched.
