Hyundai Sime Darby Malaysia today announced that the Grand Starex Royale has been given a makeover.
Featuring nothing more than cosmetic changes, the MPV now comes with a new front chrome grille, an aero dynamic side cladding, tweaked rear design, as well as new fog lights.
In terms of the interior, safety, convenience and practicality-related features are concerned, the vehicle remains the same as the outgoing model.
Powering the Starex is also still the same 2.5-litre CRDi diesel engine coupled with a Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT) and a turbo intercooler, capable of producing 170PS and 392 Nm of peak torque.
While the list of standard features includes Cruise Control, Safe Drive Recorder and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), the Grand Starex Royale 2017 facelift is priced at RM168, 888 (OTR with roadtax and insurance).
Offered in four colours - Creamy White, Timeless Black and Hyper Silver, the MPV also comes with a five-year or 300,000km (whichever comes first) extended warranty.
HSDM also announced that 24-hour road assist service is now available for new and existing Hyundai vehicles.
