Currently, the outgoing Kia Rio is powered by a 1.4-litre engine that does 107 hp and 153 Nm. Buyers in Indonesia can choose between a six-speed manual. No word on what powertrain combination will be fitted to the upcoming model.

We understood that the new Kia Rio is also destined for Malaysian soil, though it is currently unknown what powertrain combination will be offered. Naza Kia plans to push sales up by another 25% this year with the introduction of several new models this year. The company unveiled the Kia Grand Carnival back in March.
