Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has officially introduced the facelifted 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander seven-seater SUV.
New features for the 2017 Outlander SUV include an Electronic Parking Brake, Interior Floor Illumination Lamps, which activate once the doors are opened, and a Shark-Fin antenna.
Elsewhere, the Outander SUV remains mostly unchanged to the outgoing model, still offering its suite of value-for-money features such as sunroof, powered tailgate, LED Headlamps with Daytime Running Lights (DRL), auto headlights and wipers, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The Outlander SUV is offered with a 2.4-litre naturally-aspirated engine, with the company’s MIVEC variable valve timing system, producing a maximum output of 167 PS at 6,000 rpm and a torque figure of 222Nm at 4,100 rpm.
The engine is mated to Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) with a 6-Step manual mode distributing power through a 4WD system with three different drive modes – 4WD ECO, 4WD Auto and 4WD Lock.
The Mitsubishi Outlander is offered in three colours - Red Metallic, White Pearl and Grey Metallic.
The Outlander SUV is only available in one variant, priced at RM176,062, OTR inclusive of GST and Insurance charges. The Outlander SUV also comes with a warranty package of five years or 100,000km, whichever comes first.
The Outlander SUV is a Complete Built-Up (CBU) vehicle imported from Japan.
