Priced from THB 13.5 million, the model on display is the Porsche Panamera 4S, powered by a 2.9-litre turbocharged V6 that does 434 hp and 550 Nm, sending power to all four wheels via Porsche's eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. The century sprint is completed in just 4.4 seconds, with top speed rated at 289 km/h.
Exterior, the 2017 Porsche Panamera receives LED headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights up front and LED tail lights at the rear. Quad mufflers come as standard on the Panamera 4S.
Moving inside, Porsche has removed a number of buttons inside, resulting in a simpler-looking dashboard. Controls are done via touch sensitive panels, though some controls remain as a button affair. Similar to the international model, the Thai-spec Panamera also receives the same twin 7-inch HD displays that surround the traditional analogue-type tachometer. A 12.3-inch display takes care of infotainement duties.
Closer to home, Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP) will debut the second-generation Panamera in theh coming weeks. Stay tuned for that!
