The most recent facelift of the Mitsubishi ASX makes its first appearance on Asian soil at the ongoing Beijing Motor Show following its debut in North America as the Outlander Sport last November.
Globally available only in left-hand drive markets such as the American continent, the Middle East, and now China, this facelifted ASX can be recognized by its more intricate front bumper design but maintains its familiar-looking rear.
No mechanical alterations are known to be made. Currently, the ASX is offered in Malaysia with a 2.0-litre MIVEC petrol powertrain mated to a continuously variable transmission and available with a choice between front- and all-wheel drive configurations.
For the Chinese market, Mitsubishi assembles the ASX locally in a joint venture operation with the Guangzhou Automobile Group Co Ltd (GAC).
