Kia has released a teaser image of a new concept that will make its appearance at the 2015 Geneva Motor show. Very few details have been provided but the company says that this is a D-segment model, hinting at would could be the future fourth-generation Kia Optima.
Designed at the car maker’s European design studio in Frankfurt, Germany, the new concept car has the trademark ‘tiger-nose’ design grille, albeit a smaller one at the front, nestled between what appears to be LED headlights.
Continuing on from the front, we see large alloys of a unique design, small side mirrors and concealed door handles. Now, granted that this is a concept, there’s no certainty any of these design parts will make it into production. Doesn’t change the fact that those wheels look like ninja throwing stars though and that we want them.
Kia has tagged on the theme of ‘Elegant Energy’ to go along with the concept, possibly indicating a hybrid or electric powertrain but we’ll need to wait till March to find out more.
