First Full-Service BMW Electric Car Dealership Opens In California

A Santa Clara, California-based BMW dealer (Stevens Creek BMW) has recently opened the first full-service standalone BMW i facility to cater to the fast growing adoption of EVs and Hybrids by Silicon Valley residents.

According to Green Car Reports, the new showroom will cater to the exclusive sale of BMW’s range of fully electric or hybrid vehicles: the i3 and the i8.

While credit goes to Crevier BMW, another BMW dealership in Santa Ana, California, who were the first to open a BMW i showroom in the state, the Santa Clara enterprise has an in-house service facility and a dedicated staff to sell electric vehicles, making them the first to offer a full service centre.

Tiffany Wyatt, BMW i sales manager told Green Car Reports, "Our BMW i facility caters to only the new BMW i3 and the growing electric-car lifestyle in the Bay Area,"

"We have three Level 2 charging stations that are open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and are free to use."

"And we have a staff of four BMW i Geniuses who are here to educate and provide extensive product knowledge on what BMW is trying to accomplish with the i3."

There's just something about cars. It's a conveyance, it's a liability, it's a tool; but it can also be a source of joy, pride, inspiration and passion. It's much like clothes versus fashion. And like the latter, the pursuit of perfection never ends.
