Ford Malaysia recently announced that it has managed to sell 373 units of its vehicles for the month of April 2015 during a period which saw caution in the automotive industry, mainly due to the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the start of the month.

The brand’s year-to-date retail sales saw an increase of 22% to 4,984 units.

David Westerman, managing director, Malaysia and Asia Pacific Emerging Markets, Ford Motor Company said, “As the year progresses we expect the industry to regain momentum, helping to drive our performance forward this year.”

“We’re confident that the launch of more global Ford vehicles in Malaysia, including the all-new Everest, new Ranger, and new Mustang, will keep our showrooms busy.”

In April, the Ford Ranger remained as the car maker’s most popular model, contributing 211 units to its retail sales and year-to-date sales that have jumped 57% to 3,715 units.

A few days ago, Sime Darby Auto Connexion, the authorised dealer of Ford vehicles in Malaysia introduced the all-new 2015 Ford Mondeo in Malaysia priced at RM204k

About Gerard

My first impressions of a dream car should be a ridiculous top speed with physics defying cornering capabilities, namely the Ferraris, Paganis and what not. Deep down, I just want something that makes you feel special when you drive it, expensive or not.
