Less than a month after teasing us with the all-new Hyundai Kona, the company has dropped another teaser image of its new compact SUV.
Though the image has been darkened, we can see that the upcoming Hyundai Kona will receive a unique twin headlight design, similar to the Jeep Cherokee. The LED DRLs reside above the LED headlights, flanking the company's new front Cascading Grille.
Hyundai is going to challenge the Honda HR-V, Toyota C-HR and Mazda CX-3 with its new Kona. Much like its rivals, the Hyundai Kona is expected to be underpinned by the company's B-segment platform, currently used by the i20. Hyundai's range of petrol and diesel engines are also expected to be shared with the new Kona.
The company says that the new compact SUV will be unveiled in June, with sales said to start some time in October.
