Mitsubishi Triton VGT Premium Launched; 2.4 MIVEC Diesel, RM116k

Following the introduction of the Triton VGT (AT) GL spec model in September, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia has added yet another variant to the Triton range for our market, the Triton VGT AT Premium.

In the expanded Triton line-up, the new Triton VGT AT Premium variant slots in between the range-topping Adventure X and the aforementioned GL model. Equipment-wise, the new variant adds 17-inch alloy wheels, leather seats and reverse camera, and is priced at RM116,300 OTR without insurance.

Meanwhile, the Triton Adventure X also receives an update in the form of a newly designed ‘Sports Bar’ and is priced at RM126,990 OTR without insurance.

The Triton is powered by a 2.4-litre Mivec turbodiesel engine which delivers 181 PS of power and 430 Nm of torque.

Another recent addition to the Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia line-up is the ASX Adventure, a 60-unit limited special with updates such as a new front grille, rear bumper garnish, side door and fender garnish, replete with new 18-inch alloy wheels.

On the inside, the ASX Adventure comes with a ‘Sporty Blue’ accents on the door trim and leather seats. The ASX Adventure also comes with aluminium pedals and air vent rings for a premium touch in the cabin.

The ASX Adventure is only available in 2WD guise priced at RM123,988, finished in Sporty Blue metallic colour and comes with five-year warranty package with unlimited mileage.

Mitsubishi Triton models are imported as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) vehicles from Mitsubishi’s plant in Thailand. All Triton models (except the Triton Quest) are offered with a 5-year or 200,000 km warranty. The Mitsubishi ASX is assembled locally at the Tan Chong Motor Assemblies (TCMA) plant in Segambut.

In conjunction with the year-end holidays, Mitsubishi is also offering customers cash bonuses of up to RM11,000 for selected ASX variants and RM8,000 for selected Triton variants for bookings and registrations made before 31st December 2017.
