BMW Asia and Performance Motors Limited recently introduced the new BMW X7 in Singapore, with prices starting from SGD 471,888.
Power comes from a 3.0-litre TwinPower Turbo straight-six petrol engine that outputs 340 hp and 450 Nm, paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission that routes power to all four wheels via the BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system.
Depending on the market it’s sold in, the new BMW X7 is aimed directly at the Lexus LX, Infiniti QX80, and Mercedes-Benz GLS. The new BMW X7 has a length of 5,151 mm, 2,000 mm width, and a 1,805 mm height. As for the wheelbase, BMW says that the new X7 has a wheelbase of 3,105 mm.
Considering that the new BMW X7 is positioned as the company’s flagship SUV, the equipment list is just as expansive, as the new X7 includes:
- BMW Laserlight
- Slim LED front fog lights
- 21-inch Y-spoke alloy wheels
- Run-flat tires
- Adaptive two-axle air suspension
- Five-zone automatic air-conditioning
- Panoramic glass roof
The new BMW is also packed to the brim with technology, which includes:
- BMW Live Cockpit Professional
- Dual 12.3-inch displays
- BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant with ‘Hey BMW’ command
- Remote Software Upgrade
- BMW Digital Key
- Remote 3D View
- Reversing Assistant
As for safety equipment, the new BMW X7 is equipped with the Driving Assistant Professional suite, which includes:
- Crossing Traffic Warning
- Rear Collision Warning
- Priority Warning
- Wrong-way Warning
- Lane Change Warning
- Lane Departure Warning
- Lane Change Assistant
- Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go
For the Singaporean market, the new X7 xDrive40i is available across several trim levels:
- Seven-seater Design Pure Excellence
- Six-seater Launch Edition Design Pure Excellence
- Six-seater Launch Edition M Sport
