Home News Auto News Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition – From RM698k Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition – From RM698k Auto News Arvind | February 23, 2017 10:53 am Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP) has introduced the Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition – a limited-run, enhanced version offered on all Cayenne models currently sold in Malaysia, save the Cayenne GTS, Turbo, and Turbo S models.This Platinum Edition range thus includes:CayenneCayenne SCayenne DieselCayenne S DieselCayenne S E-HybridTraditionally, Porsche uses the Platinum Edition designation for selected model series that are offered for only a limited time.Arnt Bayer, Chief Executive Officer of Sime Darby Auto Performance added, “The introduction of this Platinum Edition is a celebration of the success of the Cayenne model line. Many premium quality features are now included as a standard for a superior sporty look. It is a fitting tribute to this sports car among the SUVs.”On the outside, the Platinum Edition is fitted with 20-inch RS Spyder wheels, which are housed within wider wheel arches.A non-metallic black and white finish is standard, with Deep Black, Purpurite, Mahogany, Carrera White or Rhodium Silver metallic paints available as an option. The broadened wheel arches also come in the chosen colour scheme. The models' exclusive appearance is rounded out by a high-gloss exterior package. The interior receives electrically adjustable leather sports seats with, Alcantara on the centre panels, and the Porsche crest is embellished on all head rests.The Platinum Edition also boasts stainless steel door sills with "Platinum Edition" lettering, and the latest generation Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system that includes online navigation, and the dashboard is beautifully finished off with a centrally mounted analog clock.They Cayenne Platinum Edition includes Bi-xenon headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), Power Steering Plus and ParkAssist in the front and back. The ParkAssist system uses an audible beep to indicate the distance and graphically presents the direct surroundings on the central infotainment display.Pricing starts from RM698,000 for the entry-level 3.6-litre V6 model and goes up depending on the model, excluding options and on-road costs but with the provision of a four-year warranty and free maintenance package.
