Home News Auto News Subaru Launches 2021 XV 2.0i-P From RM132k Subaru Launches 2021 XV 2.0i-P From RM132k Auto News Jim Kem | May 06, 2021 05:06 pm Subaru’s exclusive local distributor TC Subaru Sdn Bhd have introduced a new addition to the popular XV crossover’s range in the form of the updated 2.0i-P with prices starting at RM131,788 (on-the-road without insurance). Of course, you might be wondering what the big difference is between this 2.0i-P and the ones that were sold just before this, but this isn’t a major update filled with dramatic changes and upgrades. Rather, it’s more akin to a spec bump to keep the XV at the top of its game. At a quick glance, they might seem identical, at least on the outside, but dig a little deeper and you’ll spot the new interior upholstery that’s exclusive to the Malaysian and Thai market. This ‘Leather Suede Deluxe’, as they call it, is quite literally a combination of these two plush and premium materials, giving the seating experience a more luxuriously textured experience and are finished in a mixture of gloss black, matte black, and sleek silver coordinated with the XV’s character orange stitching. Of course, this interior treatment is only available on the 2.0i-P and not on the entry-level 2.0i or the range-topping GT. Stepping back outside, the XV’s design has not been altered between the two model years and we find the usual complement of 17-inch alloys, LED headlamps, LED rear combination lamps, and a selection of six exterior colours: Pure White, Dark Grey Metallic, Ice Silver Metallic, Dark Blue Pearl, Cool Grey Khaki and Sunshine Orange. Also as before, the XV is powered by Subaru’s FB20 naturally aspirated 2.0-litre flat-four petrol engine producing 156PS and 196Nm, mated to their Lineartronic CVT to send drive to all four wheels via Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive with Active Torque Vectoring and X-Mode. ✕ Let's Connect on Whatsapp We protect your personal information in compliance with the PDPA I agree with Carlist.my Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
