Surprise Surprise, Honda Malaysia Introduces A Limited Run 2021 Special Edition HR-V With New Features

Honda Malaysia unexpectedly introduced a limited run 2021 HR-V Special Edition on their website, priced at RM105,363.

To much surprise and out of the blue, Honda Malaysia today introduced a limited run special edition Honda HR-V, called the SE.

From what we can gather on their website, the HR-V SE is mostly the same as the E variant, but with the added safety feature of a blind spot detection system which opens up new features such as blind spot information, lane change assist, rear cross traffic alert and door opening warning.

Other exclusive features of the SE include a digital video recorder, trunk tray and trunk organiser. The SE is easily identified by the SE embelm placed at the rear of the car.

On the Inside, the SE is also similiar to E variant and features the same dashboard, equipment and half leather seats. 

Mechanically, the SE variant retains the current powerplant, using the same 142PS/172Nm 1.8-litre i-VTEC naturally aspirated petrol engine paired to a CVT-type automatic transmission.

Safety wise, the SE has the same amount of safety gear as the E variant, including six airbags vehicle stability assist, hill start assist, and a multi-angle rearview camera.
