Bangkok 2016: 10th Gen Honda Civic Live from the Floor

Kon March 23, 2016 23:31

We can almost smell the all-new tenth-generation Honda Civic coming to our shores, but Honda’s latest C-segment ace isn’t quite ready to make its official appearance in Malaysia just yet.

Sales of the new Civic have already begun at our northern neighbours Thailand, where it is offered in four variants priced between THB 869,000 and THB 1,199,000.

Engine line-up features the current model’s 1.8-litre SOHC i-VTEC improved to outputs of 141hp and 174Nm lining up alongside Honda’s new 1.5-litre VTEC Turbo pushing out 173hp and 220Nm. Both engines are paired with Honda’s in-house Earth Dreams CVT as standard.

Having provided us with live pictures from the Civic’s Thai market launch, our colleagues from sister site Auto Spinn are teasing us further with another round of live pictures of the new Civic, this time from the floor of the Bangkok Motor Show.

Follow the gallery below for a second up-close look of the all-new tenth-generation Honda Civic.
