2015 Infiniti QX70S Launched In Malaysia: From RM470k

The Infiniti QX70S has been launched in Malaysia with a price tag of RM470,000 (OTR with GST but without insurance). Based on the standard Infiniti QX70 3.7 GT Premium, the crossover gains visual enhancements which are found on both the exterior and interior of the vehicle.

Dark chrome serves as the main highlight of the exterior changes with the finish found on the front grille, fog light surrounds, side air vents, lower side sills, and tailgate garnish. These heightens the car’s already present design features – including its long-bonnet and powerful stance.

That’s not all because the new 21-inch six-spoke alloy wheels fitted are finished in black, as are the roof rails and side mirrors. Even the headlights get a smoked finish to complement the “dark side” character which the car projects.

The interior mirrors the exterior as well with a black lacquer finish on the centre console. A touch of colour comes in the form of purple stitching found on the seats, steering wheel, armrest and door trims.

It’s status quo beneath the hood with the familiar 3.7-litre V6 engine providing 320hp at 7,000 rpm and 360Nm of torque at 5,200 rpm, sent through a seven-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.

The comprehensive safety package found on the QX70S includes six airbags, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and Traction Control System (TCS), Intelligent Brake Assist (IBA) with Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Lane Departure Prevention (LDP), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist (BA) and Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD).
