Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) has just launched a new brand for electric mobility, called ‘EQ', which stands for 'Electric Intelligence'.
The EQ brand represents more than just a badge on the products, as MBM is extensively embarking on providing a complete, “umbrella” coverage of electric mobility ecosystem. A quick summary of what EQ brand encompasses:
“By launching the EQ brand led by our technology leaders and range-topping EQ Power C350e and E350e plug-in hybrid automobiles, we are able to create something highly emotional. The thrill of immediate acceleration with the sustainability of efficient energy consumption,”
“To us, electric mobility is more than an alternative drivetrain. The EQ brand is our calling card for customer-focused electric mobility. It extends beyond the vehicle itself to an ecosystem designed to deliver the best value, convenience and luxury to our customers and fans,” said Mark Raine, MBM Sales and Marketing VP.
EQ Power will pave the way for EQ, a name reserved solely for a range of pure electric vehicles which have been previewed by the Generation EQ concept car.
Mercedes-Benz Services Malaysia (MBSM) is also introducing the EQ Agility Care package monthly instalment plan for added value and peace-of-mind. Buyers of the EQ Power C350e and EQ Power E350e will enjoy scheduled maintenance and servicing in their ownership tenure of three to five years.
An EQ Power charging wallbox which can be installed at home or business premises is also included. Further charging convenience is added through the issuance of a ChargEV charging card that includes one-year complimentary charging.
MBM, in launching the EQ brand, also launched their latest EQ charging station, located at Pavilion KL (level B1 car park). Other EQ charging stations are Bangsar Shopping Centre, Sunway Pyramid and soon-to-be-launched Desa Park City. MBM will also add more EQ charging stations in the coming future.
