Set to make its Malaysian debut soon, Subaru’s upcoming model – the Levorg has made its first public appearance at an ongoing road show at the Mid Valley Megamall shopping centre.
From what we can see, the model is offered only in one variant – 1.6 GT-S, with an asking price of RM205,510. And as the variant name suggests, the wagon is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-litre four-cylinder boxer engine which develops 170PS and 250Nm of maximum torque.
Paired to the engine is Subaru’s Lineartronic CVT gearbox, which delivers power to the wheels via a Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system.
While exterior features include LED headlights, a sunroof, headlamp washers, twin exhaust pipes, and 18-inch wheels, the list of interior features comprise leather seats, aluminum pedals, Isofix mounts, seat heaters, paddle shifters, as well as an infotainment system with touch-screen, Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
And then there are the safety features - 7 airbags, Vehicle Dynamics Control, ABS, Torque Vectoring, Brake Assist, Brake Override, Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror, Emergency Stop Signal and Auto Vehicle Hold among others.
Imported fully from Japan, the Levorg is expected to be launched officially by Motor Image, the authorised distributor of Subaru vehicles in Malaysia within the next couple of months.
