Home News Auto News Toll Plazas At Jitra And Bukit Kayu Hitam Go Fully Electronic On 9 September 2015 Toll Plazas At Jitra And Bukit Kayu Hitam Go Fully Electronic On 9 September 2015 Auto News Gerard | August 06, 2015 03:04 pm Beginning 9 September 2015, the Jitra and Bukit Kayu Hitam toll plazas on the North-South Expressway (NSE) will handle all toll transactions electronically via PLUSMiles cards, Touch ‘n Go cards or SmartTAGs.In light of this, PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) will be conducting various promotions to ensure a smooth transition for users at both toll plazas to pay toll electronically. These include the sale of RM5 PLUSMiles cards (with pre-loaded RM5 value) since July until 31 December and sales of SmartTAG units at RM96 per unit (inclusive of GST) at both toll plazas (as compared to the normal price of RM127.30 (inclusive of GST) elsewhere) until 30 September.Additionally, motorists paying toll electronically at the Jitra and Bukit Kayu Hitam toll plazas will enjoy a 20% toll rebate for electronic toll transactions between 1 September and 31 December.PLUS Chief Operating Officer, Mohammad Fuad Khusairi said as of current, only 50% of users at both toll plazas are paying toll electronically.
