Word is that Ferrari has a lighter, more powerful F12 waiting in the wings – tentatively known as the F12 GTO or F12 Speciale. With the current 730hp F12 occupying top slot in Ferrari’s food chain of naturally aspirated engines, the more powerful GTO/Speciale is earmarked to take over.
We have reported on this new Ferrari before when it was seen uncamouflaged, parked in a visible area of Ferrari’s headquarters. Unfortunately for observers, Ferrari has taken that lesson to heart and have very thoroughly covered it up this time around.
Still, a consolation would be to get to hear the new car’s V12 as it drives around the Italian town.
