Mark your calendars for October 3 to 4 because the Alami Proton Carnival is back again for 2015. The event will take place at Proton’s Centre of Excellence in Shah Alam (Google Maps location here) from 10am to 7pm. Entrance is free to the general public where there is something for everyone of all ages.

If a brand new Proton car is what you’re looking for, customers can take advantage of the attractive ownership packages, which include special rebates on selected cars, fast approval for hire-purchase financing and high trade-in value for used cars.

The ongoing 30th Anniversary promotions are also offered, where customers can enjoy a low interest rate of 1.99% per annum with the Iriz, subject to eligibility. Government staff will also be entitled to a 100% financing scheme, while tempting deals await Graduates and Undergraduates.

Other Proton cars will also be offered with low interest rates as well and all new owners will benefit from the seven-year extended warranty promotion. Test drives of Proton’s line-up of cars will also be offered should you need to get better acquainted with the car you intend to purchase.

Tram and shuttle cars provided within the Carnival area will provide visitors a “behind the scenes” look at Proton’s Research and Development (R&D) building to witness the process of how a car is made, from conceptualisation to the finished product. Visitors can also see the demo and safety features of Proton cars at the Gymkhana area.

Vendors who supply Proton and other multinational manufacturers will also have booths set up to display their technical expertise and capabilities.

The little ones will also have loads to do with children's activities like colouring contest, face painting, sand art, driving track and many other indoor activities. A Fun Zone for young adults provides a valuable insight into Malaysia’s automotive landscape and its development throughout the years.

So get up close with our national carmaker this October at the Alami Proton Carnival 2015. Visitors can visit www.proton.com or look up Proton’s official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ProtonCars) for more information.

About Gerard

My first impressions of a dream car should be a ridiculous top speed with physics defying cornering capabilities, namely the Ferraris, Paganis and what not. Deep down, I just want something that makes you feel special when you drive it, expensive or not.
