All-New 2018 Renault Megane RS To Be Unveiled At Monaco Grand Prix

Renault is set to unveil the all-new 2018 Megane RS at the 2017 Monaco Formula One Grand Prix, in the hands of Nico Hülkenberg. To mark Renault's 40th involvement anniversary in Formula One, the new Megane RS will feature a yellow and black livery.

Earlier, the new flagship hot hatch from Renault was spied with its rear end undisguised, allowing us a clearer look at the new model. Setting itself apart from the Renault Megane GT, the hotter Megane RS will get a centrally-mounted trapezoid-shaped muffler with a large rear diffuser. An RS emblem further differentiates the hot hatch from its Megane GT sibling.

Renault did not mention what powertrain will the new Megane RS receive, but we reckon that a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine is possible, pushing out about 300 ponies to the front wheels. 

The new 2018 Renault Megane RS is poised to be unveiled officially at this September's Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany.
