So what can we expect then? Hot cars? Check! Hot girls? Check! Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson laying the smackdown on Jason Statham? Check! If there’s one thing this movie isn’t short of, that’s action sequences and bonkers stunts. Just wait till you see Dominic Toretto (played by Vin Diesel) jump a car from building to building.
Also of particular interest for those who remember the first ever installment in the film franchise, the return of Race Wars!
As for the plot, Ian Shaw (played by Jason Statham) is seeking to avenge the death of his brother, Owen Shaw, who was killed off by Dominic Toretto’s crew in the previous movie. And in the post-credit scenes of Fast & Furious 6, we witness the death of Han at the hands of Ian Shaw in the street drifting scene.
So mark those calendars for April 3, 2015 for Furious 7. We just can't wait!
On a side note, Universal Studios also released a new poster to go with the trailer, honouring the late Paul Walker. "One last ride."
