Proton Recall for Inspira and Exora Models

Following a global recall made by Mitsubishi Motors Japan earlier this year for its Lancer models, Proton Holdings Berhad has also issued a recall for its Lancer rebadged Proton Inspira models. Units manufactured between 2010 and 2014 have been installed with defective right-turn switches which are supplied by Mitsubishi. The recall involves circa 20,330 units of the Proton Inspira.

On the same trot, Proton will also recall a larger number of Proton Exora 1.6 CPS models for a precautionary inspection of the fuel line in the powertrain compartment. Some 90,000 units produced between from 2009 to 2015 are affected.
