Our friends at Roda Pusing have recently produced a rather comprehensive guide on what to look for when shopping around for a suitable window tint film for your vehicle.
Among the take away points we’ve learned are:
1. A legal tint film might not necessary meet JPJ’s VLT requirements. This is because the actual VLT is affected by the thickness or qualities of the glass material used by your vehicle manufacturer.
2. Dark tint film are not necessary better. Buyer should compare tinting films based on their heat rejection properties rather than its opacity.
