As part of another proactive measure from Honda Malaysia, 93,929 of their vehicles will be required to go through a product update. The update covers the replacement of the 12V car battery, which has been found to be potentially defective. As of yet, there have been no injuries or damage as a result of this defect- but owners who are affected by this will be informed via letter- after which they can choose to send their car in for an inspection and replacement if need be. All charges related to the replacement will be borne by Honda Malaysia.
